Kelani River Project Includes Modern SCADA Monitoring and Control Technology

On 28 October, Japan signed a grant agreement worth JPY 2.179 billion, approximately LKR 4.539 billion, to support pumping-station improvements in Sri Lanka’s Kelani River Basin. The project includes a new pumping station and a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system to monitor and control infrastructure operations. Technology providers and engineering teams can explore system integration, monitoring analytics and data-platform planning, while HPC can support complex technical workloads.
